Guy Ritchie's marriage to Madonna was "doomed" as soon as she became interested in Hinduism, according to reports.
The Material Girl, 50, began to embrace the religion on top of Kabbalah at the turn of the year - infuriating Ritchie.
The pair announced Wednesday (October 15) that they are set to split after almost 8 years of marriage.
And pals believe Madonna's devotion to religion played a big part in the marriage breakdown.
